Patna: Following the crushing defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav held a review meeting with senior Rashtriya Janata Dal leaders today. The meeting took place at Tejashwi's residence on Polo Road in Patna.

The meeting lasted for about four hours. Tejashwi reviewed the Bihar Assembly election defeat with RJD leaders. Following this, Tejashwi was elected legislative party leader.

Former RJD state president Jagdanand Singh stated that Tejashwi has been elected legislative party leader. He will be the party's leader in the Assembly. He alleged that EVMs were misused in this election and that the public was wronged.

MLA Alok Mehta stated in the meeting that the election was rigged, which is why such a shocking result occurred. Only 25 RJD candidates won the assembly elections.

Discussion of going to court regarding the election results

RJD leader Ramanuj Yadav stated that every leader in the meeting was interviewed and report cards were reviewed. There was also discussion about going to court regarding the election results. The opinions of Grand Alliance leaders will also be sought on this issue.

Amidst the ongoing turmoil within the Lalu family, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, and MP Misa Bharti also attended the meeting. Former state president Jagdanand Singh, strongman Suraj Bhan Singh, and MLA Bhai Virendra, along with several other senior leaders, attended.
