Patna: Mahagathbandhan Chief Minister candidate and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his defamatory speech for Bihar in Samatipur rally on Friday, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Tejashwi Yadav claimed that every word and ever sentence of Modi’s speech was “negative” and “defamatory” for Bihar.
The RJD leader was talking to reporters. He slammed PM Modi of “deceiving” the people of Bihar. He said that Modi has given much much more to Gujarat than to Bihar. He said that all of us in Bihar are demanding justification for it.

Tejashwi Yadav said, “Yesterday, the Prime Minister came here. Every single sentence and word of his speech was negative and defamatory for Bihar. He didn’t say anything positive. We would like to ask the Prime Minister, you have been the Prime Minister for the last 11 years, but what have you given to Bihar?”
The RJD leader attacked the Prime Minister, saying, “You set up factories in Gujarat, but want to win in Bihar. This is impossible. Bihar is bigger than Gujarat in every aspect. Every tenth person in the country is from Bihar. The Prime Minister has betrayed Bihar. Bihar did not get even 1% of what Gujarat got. The people of Bihar are demanding accountability for everything, and the Prime Minister has no answers.”
Addressing a rally in Samastipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the opposition Grand Alliance, saying that these leaders put the political future of their families above the well-being of Bihar’s youth. He accused the RJD of running a “jungle raj” and said that during this period, incidents like extortion, murder, kidnapping, and ransom were common in Bihar.
The Prime Minister said, “The RJD and Congress are only concerned about the political future of their families. Law and order cannot be maintained in such a situation. Jungle Raj has ruined generations. My mothers, sisters, youth, Dalits, and backward classes were the most affected. Police stations were closed to Dalits and extremely backward classes.”
The RJD leader also targeted the NDA, saying that the BJP has been constantly taunting the Grand Alliance after the announcement of Manish Sahni, the deputy chief ministerial candidate from the extremely backward community. He said, “This shows that the BJP dislikes the extremely backward classes.”
Expressing confidence in the Grand Alliance’s victory, Yadav said, “The people of Bihar are in a mood for change. The corrupt government will be taught a lesson this time. The entire atmosphere is in favor of the Grand Alliance.”
Elections in Bihar will be held in two phases, with voting taking place on November 6 and 11, and the results will be declared on November 14.
