LJP releases first list for Bihar Elections
Patna: The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has released its first list of candidates for the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections. The list includes 14 candidates. Party President Chirag Paswan has approved this list, which also includes his nephew Seemant Mrinal. First on the list is his longtime confidant, Raju Tiwari, who has been nominated for the Govindganj Assembly constituency in East Champaran. This seat was previously held by the BJP, where Sunil Mani Tiwari of the BJP won the last election by over 27,000 votes. This time, the seat has been transferred from the BJP to the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas).

The Janata Dal United (JDU) has also released its first list for the Bihar Assembly elections. The list includes 57 candidates, including 30 new candidates and 27 existing ones. The party has also given tickets to three strongmen: Amarendra Singh, Dhumal Singh, and Anant Singh. Only four women candidates are included in this list.
This list is part of JDU's electoral strategy, in which the party has prepared an electoral front through new faces and strong candidates. In Bihar politics, both parties are important links in the NDA alliance and are trying to strengthen their hold in the upcoming elections.
