Patna: In view of the Bihar Assembly elections, the Mahagathbandhan released its manifesto today on Tuesday. The event was held at Hotel Maurya. The Grand Alliance named its manifesto the "Sankalp Patra."

Present at the manifesto release were Grand Alliance Chief Ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav, along with VIP chief and Deputy CM face Mukesh Sahni, Mangani Lal Mandal, Dipankar Bhattacharya, Madan Mohan Jha, IP Gupta, and Ramnaresh Pandey.

Tejaswi's Pledge Letter

The Grand Alliance also called it "Tejaswi's Pledge Letter." VIP chief Mukesh Sahni said that the Sankalp Patra will lay the foundation for new development in Bihar. He said that in the last 30-35 years, the state has been kept away from the real needs of the people. In contrast, the Grand Alliance's goal is to empower the people and bring about change.

Sahani said, "Now the public wants change. We will implement it once the Grand Alliance government is formed." He also said that the National Democratic Alliance has not yet released a manifesto, while the Grand Alliance has presented concrete plans for the public.

Emphasis on Government Employees and Social Welfare

Senior CPI (ML) leader Dipankar Bhattacharya said that the manifesto focuses on the Mandi system, the old pension scheme, and social security pensions. After the government is formed, the pension for the elderly will be increased to Rs 3,000.

Congress leader Pawan Khera said that this is not just a manifesto but a pledge. These promises will be fulfilled within 20 days of the Grand Alliance government's formation.

New Government and Roadmap for Bihar

Indian Inclusive Party chief IP Gupta said that this manifesto is the roadmap for a new Bihar. He said, "A new vision and development model will be implemented."

CPI(M) leader Awadhesh Kumar, targeting the Nitish Kumar government, said that poverty, inflation, and crime have increased in Bihar over the past 20 years. Now the public wants change.

Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav said that his government will ensure employment and prosperity. He prayed to Chhathi Maiya that every son and daughter of Bihar should not be forced to leave their parents behind.
