Patna: The Bihar government has reorganized the ministries. For the first time, the BJP has been given the Home Ministry. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has been given the responsibility of the Home Department.
Ministers from the JDU quota have been assigned key departments like Finance and Commerce, which previously belonged to the BJP. Bijendra Yadav will be the minister of this department.

Surendra Mehta has been given the Animal and Fisheries Resources Department, Narayan Prasad the Disaster Management Department, and Rama Nishad the Backward and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department.
Lakendra Paswan will handle the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department, and Pramod Chandravanshi will handle the Cooperatives and Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Departments.
