Mumbai: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has married longtime partner Gauri Spratt in an intimate ceremony at his Bandra residence, marking his third marriage. The couple tied the knot in the presence of close family members and friends, opting for a private registered wedding instead of a lavish celebration.
Aamir Khan, born on March 14, 1965, is 61 years old, while Gauri Spratt, born on August 21, 1978, is 47, making the couple 13 years apart in age.
Despite the age difference, the two share a long history. They first met nearly 25 years ago, but their relationship began only after they reconnected in 2024 through Aamir's cousin, Nuzhat Khan, in Bengaluru.
Following their reunion, Aamir and Gauri reportedly spent about a year in a long-distance relationship. The actor publicly introduced Gauri as his "partner" during his 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025, confirming months of speculation about their relationship.
Gauri later moved to Mumbai with her son from a previous marriage and joined Aamir Khan Productions after leaving her job at a haircare company.
The wedding was attended by Aamir's children Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, along with filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and actor Elli AvrRam, among other close friends and family members.
The couple chose to keep the ceremony low-key, in line with Aamir's earlier statement that they wanted a simple registered marriage with only their loved ones present.
This is Aamir Khan's third marriage. He was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira.
He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005 after the two met during the making of Lagaan. The former couple welcomed their son Azad Rao Khan through surrogacy in 2011 before announcing their separation in 2021. Despite their divorce, Aamir and Kiran have continued to co-parent Azad and collaborate professionally.
