New Delhi: The trailer of Aamir Khan's film 'Sitare Zameen Par' was released on the late evening of 13 May, in which Aamir is seen in the role of a basketball coach. The trailer has received a mixed response from the audience, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Some people liked it a lot, while some say that this film seems to be a scene-to-scene copy of the Hollywood film 'Champions' and there is nothing new in it. At the same time, there are some people who have been demanding to boycott Aamir Khan and his film since the trailer was released. Why? Let's find out.

Actually, there is tension between India and Pakistan at this time. After Operation Sindoor, Pakistan attacked India, to which India gave a befitting reply. Turkey has supported Pakistan in this entire matter. People are angry with Aamir Khan because a few years ago he met the First Lady of Turkey during his visit there.

Now people have turned against Aamir and his upcoming film due to this matter. Many users on social media have tweeted and appealed to boycott the film. One user wrote, "Remember when Aamir Khan went to Turkey and met the First Lady? Now you know what to do with his next film."

Another wrote, "We are supporting 'Boycott Turkey' and 'Boycott Azerbaijan'; now it's time to boycott 'Sitare Zameen Par' too, because Bollywood has no time for India; they don't want to displease their Pakistani fans."

Some even said that after boycotting Turkish tourism, now it's the turn of Aamir's films, because he met the Turkish President and his wife - and Turkey is now taking an anti-India stand.

However, there are some people who have praised the trailer.

One user wrote, "Through "Taare Zameen Par," Aamir Khan made people aware of a topic like dyslexia. Now with "Sitare Zameen Par," he probably wants to spread awareness about Down syndrome".

Another user wrote, "While other stars are busy doing action, dance, and comedy, Aamir Khan is trying to do something different and effective. He is a true game-changer."

Story of the film

'Sitare Zameen Par' is the story of 16 children who are suffering from Down Syndrome. Aamir Khan's character is that of a strict and irritable coach who trains these children in basketball. The story of the film is how his personality changes during this time.

The film looks like an emotional and inspirational family film that talks about a serious subject.

Along with Aamir Khan, the film also stars actors like Jelia D'Souza, Gopi Krishnan, Dolly Aloowalia, Gurpal Singh, and Brijendra Kala. The film is directed by 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan' fame R. S. Prasanna.

'Sitare Zameen Par' will be released in theaters on June 20.
