New Delhi: 'Chhota Pandit' of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is soon returning to the screen once again to make everyone laugh. Rajpal Yadav, famous for his comic timing, will soon be seen once again on screen with Varun Dhawan after Kartik Aryan.

He will be seen in the role of a havildar in the action thriller film 'Baby John' produced by Atlee. On the occasion of Jagran Film Festival, he shared some experiences related to his upcoming film and personal life.

How important do you consider comedy in cinema?

There are nine rasas in the body. If you are a fan of any of the eight rasas, then it is of humor. Humor creates love, corrects blood circulation. After breathing, if any rasa is the most important, then it is humor.

What is the experience of learning with big actors?

I started with street plays. Acting is a path. I met many good passersby at every turn. Sometimes in the form of Salman Bhai, sometimes in the form of Shah Rukh Bhai, sometimes in the form of Bachchan Sahab and sometimes in the form of Ajay Devgan Sahab. I learned a lot from all the passersby because I love the path within me very much.

For some time, you also turned to politics?

One reason behind that was that I wanted to do something for the forest, land, environment, hills. I wanted to work for the rivers. I did not contest the election, but made people contest. But in 2020, Dada Pandit Dev Prabhakar Shastri ordered me to focus on acting before passing away.

What would you have been if you were not an actor?

I started politics passively in 1990 because after acting, my favourite subject has been politics. If I were not an actor, I would have been a journalist or a leader, because both these fields are also about expression.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui keeps talking about your support during his struggling days...
This is the greatness of Nawaz Bhai. We are not connected to each other's success or failure. We are about 10 people who were together even when we were successful, and together even when we were unsuccessful!

Varun Dhawan and Vamika Gabbi starrer film 'Baby John' will be released in theaters on December 25. The audience has high expectations of earnings from this film.
