New Delhi: Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan’s Bhooth Bangla has completed a solid first week at the box office, delivering a mix of strong weekend numbers and softer weekday trends. Despite the midweek slowdown, the film continues to hold a respectable position in both domestic and overseas markets.

Worldwide Collection Crosses ₹135 Crore

The horror-comedy wrapped up its first week with a worldwide gross of ₹135.45 crore. Overseas markets have played a key role in this total, contributing ₹35.50 crore by Day 7. On its seventh day alone, international earnings added ₹2 crore, helping the film maintain a stable global trajectory. The overseas performance has remained one of the key pillars of its overall box office strength.

India Net Collection Nears ₹85 Crore

In India, bhooth bangla  has collected ₹84.05 crore net in its first week. The India gross figure has reached ₹99.95 crore. The film opened strongly over its first weekend, with Sunday emerging as the peak day in terms of occupancy and collections. Family audiences and weekend rush contributed significantly to its early momentum, giving it a healthy start at the box office.

Weekday Slowdown After Strong Opening

After a powerful weekend, the film experienced a steady decline through the weekdays. Day 7 earnings dropped to ₹5.15 crore from ₹6.15 crore on Day 6, reflecting the lower theatre occupancy. Even with this dip, the film consistently maintained over 10,000 shows daily, indicating continued screen presence despite reduced footfall.

Day 8 Focus: ₹100 Crore India Net Milestone

As the film enters its second Friday (Day 8), attention is firmly on whether it can cross the ₹100 crore India net mark. Industry estimates suggest that a strong single-day jump of over ₹15 crore could help it achieve the milestone quickly. However, if collections remain modest, the achievement may shift into the second weekend.

Second Weekend Decisive for Momentum

The coming weekend will be crucial for bhooth bangla as it attempts to regain pace after weekday softness. A rebound in audience turnout could help stabilise its box office run and extend its theatrical performance into the second week.
