Mumbai: The much-awaited trailer of Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming crime thriller Daayra has been released, giving audiences a glimpse into a tense world of crime, investigation and justice. Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles, the film promises a powerful courtroom-style battle between two determined police officers.
The film marks the first collaboration between Kareena, Prithviraj and acclaimed filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, known for hard-hitting films like Talvar and Raazi.
In Daayra, Kareena Kapoor Khan steps into the role of DCP Ajooni Kohli, a strong-willed police officer who finds herself caught in a complicated case. The trailer showcases her intense investigation skills and a character determined to uncover the truth.
Prithviraj Sukumaran plays DCP Raman Kumar, another senior police officer whose approach appears to clash with Kareena’s character, creating a gripping conflict at the centre of the story.

The film is backed by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios, with Saurabh Goswami handling cinematography and Charu Shree Roy responsible for editing.
