Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ has rewritten Bollywood box office history with massive second-week collections and record-breaking daily earnings. Crossing ₹500 crore in just 16 days, the film sets new benchmarks that may remain unbeaten for years.

Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar' Box Office Performance
Mumbai: Until a few months ago, the dream of most Bollywood films was simply to enter the 100 crore club. Many films failed to reach this milestone. Only a select few, like ‘Tere Ishq Mein’, managed to surpass this target. But Ranveer Singh's film ‘Dhurandhar’ completely redefined the box office landscape.
From its release, ‘Dhurandhar’ made it clear that it wasn't just going to be a hit film, but a record-breaker. While 100 or 200 crore was previously considered a huge achievement, ‘Dhurandhar’ crossed the 500 crore mark and is now rapidly heading towards 600 crore. Although the film hasn't yet completely surpassed the lifetime collections of ‘Jawan’, ‘Pathaan’, or ‘Chhawa’, given its current pace, even those records don't seem safe.

The film earned only ₹207.25 crore in its first week, failing to set a record for the highest first-week collection. But the real magic unfolded in the second week, when the film collected ₹253.25 crore. With this, ‘Dhurandhar’ surpassed ‘Pushpa 2’ to claim the record for the highest second-week collection.
‘Dhurandhar’ made history not only in terms of weekly collections but also on individual days. The film set records for the highest second Friday (₹32.5 crore) and highest third Friday (₹22.5 crore). It then went on to break records for the highest second Saturday (₹53 crore) and third Saturday (₹34.25 crore), as well as the highest second Sunday (₹58 crore) and third Sunday (₹38.5 crore).

Until now, no Bollywood film had ever crossed the ₹500 crore mark in just 16 days. Previously, 'Jawan' had taken 18 days to achieve this record. 'Dhurandhar' has set a new benchmark by achieving this feat.
