Even before its release, Dining With The Kapoors stirred online chatter, mainly over Alia Bhatt’s absence from the official poster and Netflix announcement. Despite her marriage to Ranbir Kapoor, Alia was not featured or tagged, sparking speculation and debate across social media.
While some fans suggested she may have been busy with shooting commitments, others wondered if her absence hinted at behind-the-scenes tensions. On the other hand, the inclusion of Navya and Agastya Nanda also drew curiosity, with netizens questioning the Nandas’ appearance in a Kapoor-focused project.
Additionally, the show’s poster received mild criticism for what users described as “poor editing.” However, the intrigue and anticipation surrounding the documentary have only heightened interest ahead of its premiere.
At its core, Dining With The Kapoors is a celebration of togetherness, food, and family legacy, values deeply intertwined with the Kapoor name. By blending nostalgia with modern-day relevance, the documentary aims to remind audiences why the Kapoors continue to hold a special place in India’s cinematic and cultural history.
