Disha Patani’s father reveals details of attack; Foreign bullets used in shooting at home

Bareilly: Firing took place at the house of famous Bollywood actress Disha Patni's father Jagdish Patni on Friday, causing panic in the family. Jagdish Patni, who is a retired police officer, has shared many important things with the media after this attack. He told that the bullets used in the firing are foreign and about 8-10 rounds were fired. This incident has also raised questions on the security system of Bareilly.

Bareilly SSP Anurag Arya said that five teams have been formed under the leadership of SP City and SP Crime for investigation so that the accused can be traced and arrested soon.

Disha Patni's Father's Statement

Jagdish Patni, while talking to NNI, said that the bullets used in the firing were not indigenous, but foreign made. He told that about 8-10 rounds of firing took place. He also said that he came to know through social media that Goldie Brar has taken responsibility for this attack, but this has not been confirmed yet. Jagdish Patni said that the situation is not clear yet and the police is making every effort.

Police Security and Investigation Intensified

SSP Anurag Arya said that policemen have been deployed for the security of the family members. He has met the family and assured security. The police have started investigation by registering an FIR under different sections in the firing case at Kotwali police station. He said that strict action will be taken against the accused.
