Mumbai: The teaser from Bollywood's Khiladi, Akshay Kumar's comedy caper 'Housefull 5' has officially dropped. The film is releasing on June 6, 2025, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The fifth installment in the blockbuster 'Housefull' franchise, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Tarun Mansukhani, promises to elevate the stakes with an eclectic mix of slapstick humour and suspense, all set against the opulent backdrop of a cruise ship.

As the camera sweeps across the party, Akshay Kumar makes a striking entrance, followed by an impressive cast lineup: Ritesh Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Chitrangada Singh, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Nikiten Dheer, Soundarya Sharma, Ranjeet, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt and Nana Patekar.

However, the revelry takes a dark detour when a lifeless body crashes down from a chandelier, signalling the film's surprising murder mystery twist and a masked killer makes a brief but spine-chilling appearance.

Throughout the teaser, the upbeat track 'Laal Pari' plays in the background, amplifying the film's quirky vibe.

About Housefull

Housefull is an Indian comedy film series. The series stars Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Chunky Panday in all the films. The first two films Housefull and Housefull 2 were directed by Sajid Khan.[1][2] The third film, Housefull 3, was directed by Sajid-Farhad, the fourth film Housefull 4 was directed by Farhad Samji and the fifth film Housefull 5 is directed by Tarun Mansukhani.

The series is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Each film starts with a fresh story unrelated with the preceding film's story. However, the theme and the pace remains the same.

Despite a mixed-to-negative critical reception from the critics, the series has been commercially successful, grossing over ₹800 crore worldwide.
