"Queen" was directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Anurag Kashyap and other producers. The film starred Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon alongside Kangana Ranaut. Made on a budget of approximately ₹20 crore, the film performed exceptionally well at the box office and earned cult status.
According to recent reports, preparations for "Queen 2" are in full swing. It is reported that shooting may begin by the end of this year. Before then, the makers are busy completing pre-production work. Vikas Bahl will direct the film again, so audiences can expect a similar story and treatment.
Important information has also emerged regarding the film's title. According to reports, the makers had several options, but 'Queen 2' is not currently being considered. Instead, the title 'Queen Forever' is being discussed, which is considered more appropriate for the story and characters.
It is reported that the film's title will be finalized very soon, and an official announcement will be made shortly. The makers are trying to complete all preparations before shooting begins.
The film is being produced by Amit Chandra of Trigger Happy Entertainment. He previously produced Farhan Akhtar's film '120 Bahadur' in collaboration with Excel Entertainment.
