New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor's cult show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is returning to rule TV once again. While Smriti Irani will return to the character of Tulsi in this show after 25 years, the audience will also get to see many new faces in this new season.

To keep the curiosity of the people intact till July 29, the makers are working hard and sharing new promos. Now after Tulsi, Ketaki and many characters, a new promo of the actor who was replaced 25 years ago from the show has also come out, seeing which the happiness of the fans knows no bounds.

Who returned to Shanti Niketan after 25 years?

Star Plus has recently shared a new video on its official Instagram, which is enough to increase the excitement of the fans. With this promo, the makers have given the audience a glimpse of Tulsi Virani's husband Mihir. Yes, the anonymous character returning to the show after 25 years is none other than Mihir Virani aka Amar Upadhyay.

If you have watched this show in 2000, then you will remember very well that 'Mihir' was replaced in the middle of the show. Ronit Roy replaced the original Mihir aka Amar Upadhyay in the show. Sharing the happiness of returning to the show after 25 years and meeting Smriti Irani, Amar Upadhyay said, "I can't believe this. I never thought that season 2 would be planned and shot."

Amar Upadhyay thought it was a prank call
Amar Upadhyay also told that when he got the call for the first time, he thought it was a prank call. The actor said,

"When Tanu called me, she told me not to give my date to anyone, we are blocking your date because we are going to make Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi... I asked if this was confirmed or are you teasing me? The first thing I asked her was whether Smriti ji is doing the show or not, she said yes and said that she wants me to play Mihir. I also said yes and I will meet Smriti ji after a long time. We were always friends on the set, we have a good bonding since the time we met".

In this conversation, Amar Upadhyay also said that bringing such a big old cast together and making an iconic show is a big deal. Let us tell you that Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will be on air on Star Plus from 29th July at 10:30 pm.
