Mumbai: These days, there is a trend of making films based on true incidents. Another one where Vivek Agnihotri is running a series called 'Files'. Now another film based on the true incident has been announced. The film is based on the 2008 Malegaon blast case and has been titled 'Malegaon Files'. The film will be directed by Rajiv S Ruia. The film is currently in pre-production.
There is no information about the cast and crew of the film, so far the makers have announced the film. However, no announcements regarding the film have been made yet. Director Rajiv S Ruia said, "It is not just the story of an explosion, it is the story of the events that followed. The stories of the people, the political perspectives, the search for truth and the emotional and legal turmoil faced by the families of the accused and the victims. 'Malegaon Files' is our attempt to bring this truth to the screen.
The director said to the media that the film will be shot in real locations. Our writer team is taking care of it. It's a very sensitive subject. It is important to bring out every detail behind it. Research is underway. There is a 99 percent chance that we will shoot in real locations. We will do it soon.
