New Delhi: The wait is finally over for Mirzapur fans as the much-loved song ‘Vaaroon’ has returned with a fresh version titled ‘Vaaroon Forever’ from the upcoming film Mirzapur: The Movie.

The recreated track has been voiced by renowned singer Shreya Ghoshal and singer Romy, who have added their own touch while keeping the emotional and soulful essence of the original song intact.

Shreya Ghoshal’s Voice Brings Back Mirzapur Nostalgia

The new rendition retains the Sufi-inspired feel that made the original ‘Vaaroon’ a fan favourite. The fresh arrangement gives the song a new energy, while the vocals of Shreya Ghoshal and Romy add depth to the emotional moments.

The song features key characters from the franchise, including Ali Fazal’s Guddu Pandit, along with Shriya Pilgaonkar, Jitendra Kumar and Shweta Tripathi.

Originally released in 2020, ‘Vaaroon’ became one of the most memorable tracks associated with the Mirzapur universe. Its music and lyrics connected strongly with audiences, making its return one of the most awaited musical moments before the film’s release.

Anand Bhaskar Returns As Composer

The recreated version has been composed by Anand Bhaskar, who also worked on the original track. The lyrics have been penned by Ginny Diwan.

With ‘Vaaroon Forever’, the makers aim to preserve the emotional connection fans have with the original song while presenting it to a wider audience ahead of the franchise’s theatrical debut. The track also marks the first album release under Excel Music.

Mirzapur: The Movie Release Date

The upcoming film marks the big-screen debut of the popular crime drama franchise that began with Mirzapur Season 1 in 2018.

Mirzapur: The Movie stars Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rajesh Tailang and several other actors from the franchise.

The film is presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment. It is directed by Gurmmeet Singh, written by Puneet Krishna, and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on September 4, 2026.
