Stars Stranded in UAE as Flights Cancelled Over Security Concerns
Dubai: Following the US and Israeli attacks on Iran, the situation remains tense across the Middle East. Reports of drone and missile attacks in several parts of the region have emerged in response to Iran's retaliatory strikes. Security alerts have also been raised in the UAE. Amidst these circumstances, everyone, from ordinary citizens to film stars, is worried.
Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri is currently in Dubai and appears deeply concerned about the situation there. She shared photos and videos taken from a Dubai balcony on her Instagram account. Along with one photo, she wrote, "It's been a crazy two days." Her post clearly shows that the current situation has taken a toll on her.
Nargis shared a video on her Instagram story, in which she can be seen pointing the camera skyward from a tall building in Downtown Dubai. It appears as if she is searching for drone or missile activity in the sky. Along with the video, she wrote, 'No matter what happens, the fear persists because you never know what's going to happen next. "Can't even sleep, your brain is on high alert."'
Not just Nargis Fakhri, but many Indian film stars are also currently in the UAE. According to reports, many flights have been cancelled due to the rising tensions, leaving people stranded there. Esha Gupta and Sonal Chauhan are among the stars trying to return to India. South Indian actors Vishnu Manchu and Ajith Kumar are also reported to be in Dubai. TV actress Erica Fernandes is also currently there.
Even in a city considered safe like Dubai, the current situation has created anxiety. The constant reports of attacks and flight cancellations have created an atmosphere of uncertainty.
