Mumbai: In a devastating blow to the Indian music industry, legendary singer Asha Bhosle has passed away at the age of 92. According to reports, she was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on the night of April 11th after her health suddenly deteriorated. Doctors stated that she breathed her last on April 12th. Her death was due to multi-organ failure, leaving music lovers deeply shocked.

Asha Bhosle's funeral will be held with full state honors today on Monday, at 4 p.m. at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. This is the same venue where many eminent personalities have been given their final farewells. Many prominent figures from the film, political, and sports worlds are expected to attend her funeral.
Her mortal remains will be kept at her residence, 'Casa Grande', in Lower Parel, for fans and well-wishers from 11 am to 3 pm. Thousands of people are expected to pay their last respects. Her son, Anand Bhosle, has confirmed this.
Prominent personalities across the country have expressed grief over Asha Bhosle's passing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Virat Kohli, and A. R. Rahman, along with many other prominent figures, have paid tribute to her.
Asha Bhosle sang over 12,000 songs in her eight-decade-long career. In addition to Hindi, she spread the magic of her voice in many Indian and foreign languages. She was honored with prestigious honors such as the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and the Padma Vibhushan. She is also listed in the Guinness World Records.
