Mumbai: The first teaser of 'Ramayanam,' a much-awaited team-up by Bollywood and South Cine Prayaga, has finally been released. The film has gotten a glimpse of only 50 seconds in the beginning, but it has created panic among social media and fans, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Start of teaser
The teaser begins with AR Rahman's strong music, which shows the praise and glory of this religious Mahagatha. Then on the screen, the names of three major deities—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—emerge, and the importance of cosmic balance is outlined. At the same time, suddenly an unimaginable power arises from the same balance, which emerges as a king in the world of demons, the incarnation of Yash 'Ravana.'
Yash's katta, hidden glimpse, deep shadow, and mysterious atmosphere take the audience to another world at the same moment. After this, suddenly actor Ranbir Kapoor comes on the screen, who appears as young Prince Ram. This avatar of Ranbir is shown in the close-up, where his half-face and the action of climbing and running with the arrow and hand are clearly visible. This scene acquires the character of young, fast-paced, and indomitable Rama.
The dramatic style of framing in the teaser, the presence of three gods, and finally the glimpse of Ranbir-Yash all point to a saga that presents eternal duality like goodness vs. darkness, human vs. Amar, and Ram vs. Ravana in colorful form.
The title of the film appears on the 'Ramayanam' screen, and in its end time it is revealed that the English name of the real film is 'Ramayana.' It explains the plan of multilingual and multicultural entertainment.
