Udaipur: South Indian cinema's popular couple, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, tied the knot today on 26 February. The private ceremony was held at ITC Grand Mementos in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The wedding was conducted according to traditional Telugu customs, with both families and close relatives in attendance.
According to reports, after the Telugu wedding in the morning, another special ceremony will be held at 4 pm according to Kodava (Coorg) customs. Thus, the couple planned a dual ceremony, honoring both cultures. Both families and close guests had arrived in Udaipur since February 23. On Sunday, the couple officially announced their wedding on social media.
After the wedding, Rashmika and Vijay's team distributed sweets to the media and fans present outside the venue. In a video that surfaced on social media, the team was seen distributing sweet boxes to paparazzi and local residents standing at a distance. Furthermore, sweets were also distributed to some underprivileged children, which won the hearts of fans.
Rashmika Mandanna's picture was printed on the sweet boxes. The name "Prabhuji" was also written on the box. This special packaging was designed to suit the wedding theme and is rapidly going viral on social media.
Many celebrities from the film industry attended this royal wedding. The guest list included names like Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Rahul Ravindran, Eesha Rebba, Aashika Ranganath, and Shravya Varma. The ceremony was kept strictly private.
