Mumbai: In Vivek Agnihotri's 'The Bengal Files' Anupam Kher discusses his initial impression of Mahatma Gandhi. Producer and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri is occupied with the promotion of his next movie 'The Bengal Files'. Since actor Anupam Kher released his first glimpse of the film on 15 August, India's Independence Day fans have been eagerly awaiting it.

Anupam Kher's portrayal of Gandhi is so realistic that fans are thrilled and have praised it. In addition to the outfit Anupam Kher posted a photo of the background music for the movie. The music features a bhajan called Vaishnav Jan which was written by renowned music director AR Rahman and performed by Shreya Ghoshal.
This has raised anticipation for the soundtrack and overall production value of the movie. Known for his previous hit film The Kashmir Files Vivek Agnihotri is the director of The Bengal Files. The Noakhali massacre and the Kolkata riots of 1946 are the subjects of this recent movie. There will be two parts to the films release.
On September 5 2025 the first segment which is centered around the theme of Right to Life will be released in theaters. The second parts release date has not yet been revealed by the producers.
