Mumbai: The shooting of Akshay Kumar starrer much awaited film 'Welcome to the Jungle' was recently stopped. Although earlier there were reports that there were financial reasons behind stopping the shooting, but now sources have clarified that the real reason for pausing the shooting is the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Pahalgam Attack Affected Shooting

According to a close source associated with the film, about 70 percent of the film has already been shot. The remaining 30 percent was to be shot in Kashmir, but after the Pahalgam attack, the plan to shoot there was postponed. In such a situation, keeping security reasons in mind, the team decided that the shooting would be resumed at an alternate location after the rains end.

Rumours Turned Out To Be False

Recently a media report claimed that the reason for stopping the shooting of the film is the financial problems of the production house. The report said that some of the actors have not received their payments and some of the previously cast actors have left the film. However, an insider dismissed all these rumours and said that the entire schedule for the film was pre-planned, which included helicopters, over 250 horses and 1200 junior artists. All 34 actors are excited about the project and are ready for the final schedule.
