New Delhi: Afghanistan has accused Pakistan's army of carrying out an airstrike on a drug rehabilitation hospital in Kabul. According to Afghan Health Ministry spokesman Sharafat Zaman, more than 200 people died in the attack.
He said in an interview with local TV that a large part of the hospital was completely destroyed and many patients undergoing treatment there were killed.
However, Pakistan has completely rejected these allegations. Mosharraf Zaidi, spokesman for Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, said that no hospital was targeted in Kabul.

Pakistan says that its army only carried out precise strikes on terrorist hideouts and military structures.
Afghan government spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid strongly condemned the attack, saying it was a violation of Afghanistan's sovereignty. He claimed that most of those killed were patients undergoing treatment.
Tension between the two countries has been increasing for the last several weeks. Four people have died and many have been injured in the firing on the border.
According to Afghan officials, mortar shells fired by Pakistan damaged houses in several villages in Khost province.

Pakistan has long been accusing Afghanistan, saying that the government there provides shelter to the Pakistani Taliban and other militant organizations, which carry out attacks in Pakistan.
However, Afghanistan has been continuously rejecting these allegations.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council has also expressed concern over the increasing tension in the region and appealed to Afghanistan to intensify action against terrorism.
The increasing attacks and retaliation between the two countries have made the situation more serious.
