The city of Al-Kut is located about 160 km from Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, and it falls in Wasit province. The accident has been confirmed by Wasit Province Governor Mohammad Al-Miyahi in a statement given to the official Iraqi News Agency (INA). He said that the fire broke out on the first floor of the mall on Tuesday morning and rapidly spread throughout the building.
