Tehran: A high-level Iranian delegation led by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has arrived in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad. The visit comes amid preparations for talks with the US regarding the ongoing tensions and a possible ceasefire. The delegation includes experts from security, political, military, economic, and legal matters, who will work to broaden the dialogue.

Emotional Photo Shocks the World

Meanwhile, Ghalibaf has shared a photo on X. He placed photographs, bags, and shoes of schoolchildren killed in the February 28th attack on the seats inside the plane. According to reports, a school in Minab was targeted, killing more than 160 girls. Blood stains on the bags and shoes bore witness to the tragic incident. A flower was also placed on each seat, symbolizing the tribute to the innocent victims.

"My companions in this journey"- Ghalibaf's message

Sharing this photo, Ghalibaf captioned it, "My companions in this journey." In the photo, he was seen silently gazing at the children's photographs and belongings. His silence itself conveyed a deep sorrow that is difficult to express. This scene clearly shows that this incident is a wound for Iran that will not be easy to forget.

Distrust of America

Delivering a statement in Islamabad, Ghalibaf said that Iran is participating sincerely in the talks, but it does not trust the US. He said that past experiences have not been encouraging, which is why Tehran is adopting a cautious approach. He also pointed out that Iran faced two wars in a single year, even while the negotiation process was ongoing.

Talks will proceed only after conditions are met

Iran has made it clear that formal talks will only begin if the US accepts its preconditions. Tehran believes that fulfilling previously made promises is essential before any steps can be taken towards a new agreement or ceasefire.

Presence of senior leaders adds significance

The delegation includes senior leaders like Abbas Araghchi and Ali Akbar Ahmadin. Their presence indicates that these talks are of utmost importance to Iran, and the entire region is closely monitoring their outcome.
