Chinese man arrested at UP-Nepal border entering illegally into India 

SSB commandant Ganga Singh Udavat, while talking to media persons said that Qunjing was caught while filming sensitive areas while crossing the border. Udavat further said that Qunjing had crossed into India from Nepal.

New Delhi: A Chinese national was arrested at the Rupaidiha check post in Bahraich district, Uttar Pradesh, while trying to enter illegally into India. He was found recording video of sensitive locations, said the spokesperson of  the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

 The 49-year old Chinese has been identified as Liu Qunjing, from Hunan province China. Liu Qunjing had earlier travelled to Pakistan also and was found with Pakistani, Chinese, and Nepalese currencies on him. 

SSB commandant Ganga Singh Udavat, while talking to media persons said that Qunjing was caught while filming sensitive areas while crossing the border. Udavat further said that Qunjing had crossed into India from Nepal. Along with the currencies of Pakistan, China and Nepal, 3 mobile phones were also recovered from him. The mobile phones had the visuals of a number of restricted areas inside Indian territory. 

SSB commandant said that Qunjing did not have valid documents with him. Apart from that he was also carrying a map of Nepal. Qunjing said that he did not know English or Hindi and could communicate only through gestures.
