New Delhi: Elon Musk has once again sharply criticized Donald Trump's policies. He described the new tax and spending bill introduced by the Trump administration as "crazy" and "extremely harmful to America." Musk says that this bill will not only harm the economy, but millions of jobs may also be at risk.

Musk, once considered close to Trump, is now openly opposed to his policies, reports Dynamite News correspondent. This bill includes many proposals that can deeply affect the social and economic system of America.

These include huge cuts in social schemes like Medicaid and food stamps, while there is a proposal for a huge increase in the defense and border security budget. Such as $46 billion to build a wall on the US-Mexico border, 100,000migrant detention beds, and a plan to recruit 10,000 new ICE officers, including signing bonuses.

Musk's warning: Future industries in danger

Elon Musk has warned that this bill will push back America's emerging technology industries, such as green energy and artificial intelligence, while benefiting old industries. He believes that this step can be harmful for America's future.

Trump's pressure to pass the bill before July 4

Trump has ordered Republican lawmakers to get this bill passed in both houses before July 4. Since the Republican Party has a majority in both the Senate and the House, Trump wants to make it a major achievement of his election campaign.

He has described it as an important part of his 'America First' policy, in which tightening the borders and taking strict action against illegal immigrants are prominent.

Plan to deport 1 million people every year

The most controversial proposal of this bill is to expel 1 million immigrants from the country every year, which could become the biggest deportation campaign in American history. Not only human rights activists but also many industrialists and some Republican lawmakers have expressed deep concern over this.

Why is Trump doing so?

Before coming to power Trump had promised to revive the American economy by giving 'Make America Great Again' slogan, but could not delivered as he promised. Recently, he has also faced backlash from Europe for annexing Greenland by force.
