Islamabad: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi Have been sentenced to 17 years in prison in Toshakhana corruption cases by a Pakistan accountability court.
The case is about alleged fraud in state gifts, which the former first couple received from the Saudi Government in 2021.
This jail term comes amid a lot of criticism of the Pakistan Government over the alleged mistreatment of Imran Khan inside the prison.
