New Delhi: Gold and silver prices saw sharp movements across India on 13th February. The price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs262 to Rs26,200 per 10 grams.
Similarly, 10 grams of gold dropped Rs2,620 to Rs1,55,780, while 100 grams slipped Rs26,200 to Rs15,57,800.
This decline came despite positive cues from global markets. In India, 24-carat, 22-carat, and 18-carat gold all witnessed price drops.
Meanwhile, silver prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) rose by 2%, and gold strengthened by 1% during intraday trading.
Globally, spot gold recovered after a 3% fall in the previous session, trading around $4,960 per ounce, while spot silver climbed 2.5% to above $77 per ounce.
