New Delhi: In the second match of the Asia Cup Super 4, India registered a resounding victory against Pakistan. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pakistan got off to a good start, but ultimately set a target of 172 runs for India.

Both teams made two changes to their playing XI. Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy returned to the Indian playing XI, replacing Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh. Pakistan rested Hasan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah, bringing in Fahim Ashraf and Hussain Talat.

India's chase of 172 began brilliantly. Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma's impactful fifties propelled India towards victory. However, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed without scoring. Haris Rauf then struck again, dismissing Sanju Samson for 13. Ultimately, Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma steered India to victory.
