Seoul: India's all-party Parliamentary delegation on Monday engaged with key stakeholders in South Korea, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The MPs also conveyed that India makes no distinction between terrorists and the states that harbour them, and sought global cooperation to bring perpetrators and enablers to justice.

"Our delegation called on Mr. Yun Ho-jung, Chairperson of the Korea-India Parliamentary Friendship Group and briefed him on India’s principled and uncompromising stance on terrorism in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam attack.

"We conveyed that India makes no distinction between terrorists and the states that harbour them, and seeks global cooperation to bring perpetrators and enablers to justice," TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, who is vocal against all sorts of terrorism, said.

He said India’s all-party parliamentary delegation had the honour of engaging with key stakeholders in Korea to further New Delhi's united message against the global threat of terrorism. He said they also engaged with eminent scholars and senior representatives from Korea’s leading think tanks, policy groups, and India Studies Centres.

"The discussions were substantive, delving into India’s measured, precise and non-escalatory response," in the form of Operation Sindoor to target the terror den s across the border," Banerjee elaborated about the all-party outreach mission to convey India's concern on terrorism, backed by the Pakistani regime.

"I spoke about the moral urgency of collective global action in dismantling terror ecosystems and how India’s doctrine, guided by the restraint principle and resolve, can serve as a template in this regard. I thank our Korean counterparts for their strong show of solidarity and support," the Diamond Harbour MP in West Bengal, said.

The delegation also met the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Cho Tae-yul, where they reiterated India’s enduring commitment to fight terrorism. "Terrorism cannot be viewed through selective morality. It is a crime against and those who justify, shield, or enable it must be held fully accountable," Banerjee said whilst interacting with the foreign dignitaries.

The delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, also met Sung il-Jong, Chairman of the National Defence Committee of South Korea's National Assembly furthering India's diplomatic efforts to rally international support against terrorism in the wake of the April 22 Pahalgam attack.

The delegation is on a multi-national mission to strengthen the global narrative against cross-border terrorism and highlight India's zero-tolerance stance. During a meeting with think tanks in Seoul, Congress leader and delegation member Salman Khurshid addressed the current challenges in Jammu and Kashmir, attributing renewed terror activity to the region's positive trajectory.

Salman Khurshid said, "When we were showing that everything was normal and tourists were coming in large numbers, they aimed to hit the spot to portray Kashmir as unsafe for tourists. This was a devious exercise against our successful attempts to normalise the situation and work towards growth and peace in Kashmir.
