Tehran: At least 639 people have been died and 1,329 injured so far in the ongoing Israeli attacks on Iran. These figures have been released by the Washington-based human rights organization Human Rights Activists.

According to the report, the dead include 263 civilians and 154 security personnel. The organization said that these figures have been prepared by cross-checking the information received from local sources in Iran through their nationwide network. The same organization was also known for releasing accurate figures in the protests that took place after the death of Mahsa Amini in 2022.

Iranian government has not yet given regular figures of deaths and has previously underestimated the number of casualties. Iran's last official report came on Monday, which spoke of 224 deaths and 1,277 injured.

US President Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday refused to say whether his country would join Israel's military effort to target Iranian nuclear facilities. Speaking to reporters, Trump said that I have a plan for everything, but we'll see what happens. They should have made a deal. I had a great deal for them. We talked about it for 60 days, and in the end, they decided not to do it, and now they wish they would have. It's too late to meet, but they want to meet, and they want to come to the White House. I can do that, the US President Trump further added.

Operation Sindhu

The safe return of Indians stranded amid the Israel-Iran conflict is starting. On Thursday morning, about 100 Indian students reached Delhi under Operation Sindhu. These students were brought from Iran to Armenia by road on Tuesday and from there they were sent to India by a special plane from the capital Yerevan.
