Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the Middle East conflict could trigger a global crisis similar to COVID-19. Rising oil prices, military tensions, and uncertain peace talks between the US and Iran are increasing concerns worldwide.

New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated clearly that no one can predict the future impact of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. He remarked that the trajectory and outcome of this conflict remain entirely uncertain, a situation that has heightened global anxiety, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Putin drew a parallel between this war and the COVID-19 pandemic. He argued that just as the coronavirus shook the entire global economy, this conflict, too, could slow down the economic momentum of numerous nations.
He warned that this crisis would not remain merely regional but would instead have repercussions across the entire world.
According to Putin, several sectors have already been adversely affected by this conflict:
Furthermore, pressure has intensified on critical sectors such as oil, metals, and fertilizers, leading to instability in global markets.
This development has further deepened the risk of rising inflation worldwide.
US President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Iran. He stated that if Iran fails to reach an agreement, it will face severe consequences.
Trump also asserted that Iran has been weakened and is compelled to seek a deal; however, Iran has not acknowledged or accepted these claims.
The United States has presented Iran with a 15-point ceasefire proposal, while Iran has put forward its own set of 5 conditions.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has offered to mediate between the two nations in an effort to facilitate a resolution through dialogue.
This clearly indicates that the situation could become even more critical.
All in all, this conflict in the Middle East is no longer confined to a single region. Its impact is clearly visible across the global economy, oil prices, and international politics.
Putin's warning suggests that unless a solution is found soon, this crisis could evolve into a major global challenge—much like the COVID-19 pandemic.
