The Indian government strongly condemned the missile strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, describing repeated attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure as “completely unacceptable".
The missile struck the airport complex housing Terminals 3 and 4, which serve domestic flights. Saudi authorities said the victims included four Saudi nationals and two Bangladeshi nationals, along with citizens of Palestine, the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Sudan.
A Saudi-led coalition blamed Iran-backed Houthi rebels in neighbouring Yemen for the attack.
In a statement, the MEA condemned the repeated strikes on the airport, including the October 10 attack, citing the loss of lives, injuries and damage to property.
