Los Angeles: Actress Sadie Stanley offered a compelling behind-the-scenes look at the making of her film ‘Karate Kid: Legends’, sharing her time with legendary actor-martial artist Jackie Chan, and revealed a surprising talent of the actor, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Speaking at the film's New York City premiere recently, Stanley, 23, who features alongside Chan, Ralph Macchio, Ben Wang, and Joshua Jackson in the sixth installment of the iconic Hollywood franchise, shared her experience during the shooting, and Chan’s unique on-set presence.

During the arduous production of the film's climactic fight sequence—a scene involving hundreds of extras and extensive coordination—Stanley revealed that as everyone’s spirits began to waver, the ‘Rush Hour’ actor immediately uplifted their withering morale by singing, reports People.
"We were losing morale a little bit and Jackie could sense that," Stanley said. Without a moment’s hesitation, Chan seized a microphone and, to everyone's surprise, and delight, began to sing his own unique rendition of ‘I Can't Help Falling in Love.’
Fondly recalling the impromptu performance, she said “(He) basically held a concert. I will never forget that — and his voice was beautiful. There's nothing he can't do. I'll never forget it."
A lifelong admirer of ‘The Karate Kid’ films, Stanley also praised Chan's remarkable humility.
"He's been doing this forever, he's a legend," she noted. "Everybody loves him, but he comes onto set, extremely humble, talking to everybody, making friends with the crew, just with the best attitude. And I think that's really rare to see these days, with legends like him."
His decades-long career evidently continues to be a source of inspiration for others.
‘Karate Kid: Legends’ is the latest cinematic entry in ‘The Karate Kid’ universe, aiming to bridge the narratives of the original film series and the popular ‘Cobra Kai’ television show.
The film brings together actors from various iterations of the franchise, including Jackie Chan, who led the 2010 reboot, and Ralph Macchio, who reprises his iconic role from the original films and ‘Cobra Kai’.
The film premiered in parts of South America on May 8 and in Europe and Scandinavia on May 29, with a United States release scheduled for May 30. (With inputs from agencies)
