Trump Expresses Confidence in Ukraine's Victory

Trump stated that with the support of the European Union and NATO, Ukraine can return to its "original form." He stated that with patience and economic support, Ukraine can regain the status it had before the war began. This indicates Trump's full support for Ukraine.

Trump's Position on NATO and Airspace

When asked whether NATO countries should shoot down Russian aircraft that intrude into their airspace, Trump answered "yes." This is a highly aggressive stance, advocating increased NATO activity. However, when asked about his trust in Putin, he said he would answer after a month.

A Stern Warning to Russia

Trump criticized Russia, saying it has been fighting a pointless war for the past three and a half years. According to him, if Russia were a true military power, the war would have ended in less than a week. His statement is an attempt to portray Russia as weak and strategically unsuccessful.

Zelenskyy Asked for More Help

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy appealed for more help from the US during the meeting. He said there are some positive signs from the battlefield. The two leaders discussed options for ending the war and had a warm meeting.

Economic Sanctions and Energy Issues

Trump also said that the biggest achievement towards ending the war is that the Russian economy is in a very bad state. He appealed to European countries to stop purchasing Russian oil and gas. Zelenskyy also supported this appeal.

The Failure of Peace Efforts and the Future Strategy

However, Trump's initial peace efforts failed. His attempts to bring Putin and Zelensky together were also fruitless. Instead, Russia intensified its attacks. Now, the US and European countries are planning to impose even tougher sanctions on Russia to weaken its war capabilities.

Trump's recent comments make it clear that he supports Ukraine and favors increasing pressure on Russia. He described the war as "a small skirmish" that misguided leadership escalated into a devastating conflict. It remains to be seen what the US and Europe's future strategy will be and whether it will prevent war.
