New Delhi: US President Donald Trump on Saturday issued a stern warning to Iran, saying that if Iran launches any kind of attack on America, then the US forces will respond in a way never seen before.

Trump also made it clear that the US had no involvement in the attack on Iran by Israel on Saturday night, so Iran should refrain from attacking America, or else it will have serious consequences, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, that the US can easily bring about a settlement between the two countries—Iran and Israel—and this bloody conflict can be ended.

One should not forget that Donald Trump once vowed to end the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia but failed to even get Putin to the negotiating table for a ceasefire.

Similarly, he claimed he could broker a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. However, after India rebuffed his assertions, he began backtracking on his own statements.

Meanwhile, Israel carried out a major airstrike on Saturday night, targeting Iran's Defense Ministry, power plants, and nuclear bases. The attack was part of 'Operation Rising Lion' and was carried out for the third consecutive night.

According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), these attacks targeted those bases that are linked to Iran's nuclear weapons program. After the attacks, air raid warning sirens started ringing in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

Hours before Trump's warning, Iran canceled the proposed nuclear talks with the US in Oman. On Friday, Trump urged Iran to reach an agreement with the US on its nuclear program.

In response, Iran's Revolutionary Guards claimed that they targeted Israel's energy system and places where fuel is prepared for fighter jets. This response has further deepened tensions in West Asia.

Also, Iran has warned the US, Britain, and France that if they help Israel in stopping Iran's missile and drone attacks, they will target military bases and ships of these countries.
