Washington: The ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran have deepened. US President Donald Trump has stated clearly that the downing of the US military aircraft will not impact negotiations. He stated bluntly, "This is war, we are at war." This statement comes at a time when military action is ongoing and diplomatic efforts are underway.

Iran Claims US Plane Shot Down

According to reports, Iran has claimed to have shot down an American A-10 attack aircraft near the Strait of Hormuz. However, this claim has not yet been independently confirmed. The A-10 aircraft is primarily used to engage ground targets and is considered a powerful weapon of the US military.

Meanwhile, another significant information has emerged: an American F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet also short down over Iran. Two crew members were on board. The Pentagon told  that one soldier is safe, but the condition of the other remains unknown. When Trump was asked about the missing soldier and what the US would do if Iran harms him, he did not give a clear answer. He simply said, "We hope that doesn't happen."
