Plane Accidents Have Happened Before

This is the fourth such incident publicly acknowledged during US military operations against Iran. Last week, the US military confirmed that three F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets were accidentally shot down by Kuwaiti allied forces.

However, in that incident, all six crew members managed to eject safely and were found in stable condition after rescue.

War Losses Mounting

According to the US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, seven US soldiers have been killed so far in the ongoing conflict with Iran. In addition, approximately 140 soldiers have been injured, eight of whom are reported to be in critical condition.

Amidst the ever-escalating military tensions in West Asia, such incidents are further increasing instability in the region. The US military is currently conducting a detailed investigation into the accident and its causes are likely to be revealed in the coming days.
