Why is Pakistan linked to terror strikes in India? Reports point to Hamas–LeT nexus

Naji Zahir is the same Hamas leader who visited Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in February 2023. This visit took place just weeks before major terrorist attacks. It was there that he, along with commanders of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, participated in an anti-India rally.

New Delhi: Pakistan is now witnessing new ties between Hamas and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commanders. A recently surfaced video reveals that senior Hamas commander Naji Zahir and LeT commander Rashid Ali Sandhu met in Gujrat city, Pakistan.

This meeting took place at an event organized by the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML). This is considered the political face of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Naji Zahir attended as the chief guest, while Sandhu was present as a group leader.

Hamas Leader's Pakistan Connection
Naji Zahir is the same Hamas leader who visited Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in February 2023. This visit took place just weeks before major terrorist attacks.

It was there that he, along with commanders of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, participated in an anti-India rally.

He has several other connections to Pakistan. In January 2023, he visited Karachi and addressed the media at the Karachi Press Club. In April 2023, he was honored by the Ibrahim High Court Bar Association.

Multiple Visits to Pakistan
Just a week after the October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel, on October 14, Zahir met with Fazal-ur-Rehman, the head of Pakistan's largest Islamist party, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.

On the same day, he addressed the Mufti Mahmood Conference in Peshawar, where he participated via video link.

Following this, on October 29, 2023, he attended the "Al-Aqsa Storm" conference in Quetta, Balochistan. He again participated in the 'Toofan-e-Aqsa' conference in Karachi in November 2023.

These events clearly show that Hamas leaders are operating in Pakistan and are connected to local terrorist networks.
