The US is preparing to establish control over the Strait of Hormuz, further escalating regional tensions. This information was provided by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant in an interview.
Scott Bessant stated that in the future, control over the Strait of Hormuz could be established through US ships or a joint fleet of several countries. He explained that some countries are currently negotiating with Iran to divert their ships through this route, but the US wants to ensure a completely safe and free passage.
