Jammu: In Jammu and Kashmir Kupwara district, there was a clash between security forces and some terrorists. Sources say the fight happened after it was thought that a group of terrorists from the Jaish-e-Mohammed group were hiding in the area. The security forces closed off the area and began searching after they got information. They are working to surround the terrorists.

This encounter is part of ongoing security actions against terrorists in Kishtwar. Local officials say security forces are on high alert, watching for any terrorist activities and conducting a big operation to find and deal with the terrorists in the area.

A day before the clash, the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s counter-intelligence unit did a major operation in a sensitive case involving terror funding and recruiting.

Ten suspects were arrested from Srinagar, Pulwama, Budgam, and Ganderbal districts. All of them are accused of coordinating, funding, and carrying out terrorist actions on orders from Pakistan. This arrest is seen as a big win against terrorism.

The investigation found that these suspects were in constant communication through a special encrypted messaging app.
This app was being used by terrorist groups for recruiting, funding, and planning attacks. The whole network was run by a Pakistan-based person named Abdullah Ghazi, who is linked to groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Security agencies say the arrest is a key step in breaking down the financial and recruitment systems of Jaish-e-Mohammed and other terror groups. During the investigation, it was found that terrorists were using social media and encrypted apps to hide their activities, making it hard to track them.

Jammu and Kashmir police officials believe the encounter will hit militant activities hard in the region. Security forces are keeping a strict watch and making sure the safety of the local people is maintained.

These encounters and arrests in Kishtwar will help stop terrorist activities and speed up efforts to bring stability to the area.
The local government and security agencies are determined to keep up the anti-terror operations.

More details about the encounter and investigation are expected soon, which will lead to stronger actions against the terrorist network.
It’s clear that security forces are taking every possible step to fight terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and are always ready to hand over terrorists to the law.
