Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited hospital on Monday to pay his last respects to the former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) founder, Shibu Soren. He expressed his heartfelt condolences and praised Shibu Soren for his lifelong commitment to helping tribal communities, the poor, and the underprivileged. Shibu Soren passed away at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi after being admitted there due to kidney problems.

Modi met with Shibu Soren's son, Hemant Soren, who is currently the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Hemant Soren was visibly emotional during the meeting, and Modi gave him a comforting hug. Shibu Soren, known as Guruji, was 81 years old at the time of his passing.
