New Delhi: In the meeting of the Supreme Court Collegium held on Monday, it has been recommended that the Chief Justices of two High Courts of the country be made judges of the Supreme Court.

Alok Aradhe was born on 13 April 1964 in Raipur. He completed BSc & LLB Enrolled as Advocate on 12 July 1988. Practiced in Madhya Pradesh High Court, Jabalpur in Civil, Constitutional, Arbitration and Company matters. Designated as Senior Advocate in April 2007. Played a key role in the revision of Justice MP Jain and SN Jain's 'Principles of Administrative Law' (5th & 6th Edition) and Justice G.P. Singh's 'Principles of Statutory Interpretation' (15th Edition).
Appointed Additional Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court on 29 December 2009 and became Permanent Judge on 15 February 2011. Transferred to Jammu & Kashmir High Court on 20 September 2016 and took oath. Appointed Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir State Judicial Academy on 7 June 2017. Served as Acting Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court from 11 May 2018 to 10 August 2018. Appointed as Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir State Legal Services Authority on 4 September 2018.
Took oath as Judge of Karnataka High Court on 17 November 2018. Held the post of Acting Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court from 3 July 2022 to 14 October 2022. Also served as Chairman of Bengaluru Mediation Centre, Arbitration and Conciliation Centre and Karnataka Judicial Academy. Appointed Chief Justice of Telangana High Court on 19 July 2023 and took oath of office and secrecy on 23 July 2023.
Vipul Manubhai Pancholi was born on 28 May 1968 in Ahmedabad. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Electronics from St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad and completed his post graduation in Commercial Laws from Sayer LA Shah Law College, Ahmedabad.
Admitted to the Bar in September 1991 and started practising as an advocate in Gujarat High Court. Worked as Assistant Public Prosecutor and Additional Public Prosecutor in High Court of Gujarat for seven years till March 2006. Also Honorary Joint Editor of 'Law Reporter - The Gujarat Law Herald' for two years.
Served as Guest Lecturer in Sayer LA Shah Law College for 21 years from December 1993. Handled important cases in various laws like Criminal, Civil, Property, Service, Family, Banking etc.
Appointed Additional Judge of Gujarat High Court on 1 October 2014 and became permanent Judge on 10 June 2016. Took oath as Judge in Patna High Court on 24 July 2023. Became Chief Justice of Patna High Court on 21 July 2025.
