These five “Magical” plants to keep your home cool this summer

According to Vastu Shastra, certain plants act like natural air conditioners—cooling your home, purifying the air, and even inviting positivity and prosperity.

1. Tulsi (Holy Basil) and Aloe Vera

Tulsi is a powerhouse for natural cooling. Place it in the North or North-East direction to purify the air, release oxygen, and maintain a sacred, cool environment. Aloe Vera, best positioned in the East or North, works overtime by releasing oxygen at night and absorbing heat, ensuring your home stays refreshingly cool.

2. Snake Plant and Money Plant

Struggling with poor air quality or restless nights? The Snake Plant, ideal for South or East corners, improves air quality and promotes better sleep. For prosperity and increased indoor humidity, a Money Plant in the South-East direction is said to be highly effective.

3. Mint and Other Herbs

Mint, placed on kitchen windowsills or in the North, offers a soothing fragrance while lowering room temperature by 1–2 degrees. Other small green plants like Coriander, best planted in the North, not only cool the home but also provide a refreshing visual break with their lush greenery.
