Waking Up Early
A major way through which Ayurveda is coming back is through daily routines. Many Indians are starting their day in the ayurvedic way, which means waking up early in Brahma Muhurta (1 hour and 36 minutes before sunrise), and continuing to drink warm water or preferably herbal tea, and some simple breathing exercises or gentle yoga poses like pranayama. These small steps help the body wake up slowly and calmly, keeping the morning rush away.
What we eat also play important role in re-awakening, ayurveda practician avoided fast food or packaged meals, more families are choosing foods that are fresh and natural. Ayurveda teaches what to eat according to body type and season, many traditional remedies like kadhas (herbal drinks) for coughs and colds are making a comeback.
Ayurveda is influencing how we care for our homes. Now people are finding natural ways to clean their houses, using soapnuts (Reetha) for cleaning baby cloths because it is a natural alternative to conventional detergents. Instead of strong chemical air fresheners, homes are now filled with the natural smells of camphor or essential oils, which are calming and good for health.
It's not just a trend; its about making lives more healthy, balanced and satisfactory. This is ancient Indian wisdom can still help us to improve lives also in our so-called modern world. Reminds us to remember small differences will make big impact and also to treat the root cause.
