Good morning, respected Principal and teachers. As we all know that every 5th September is celebrated as Teachers' Day all over India. This day is very special for all students and teachers. Teachers are the most important gurus in our lives, who always inspire us to show the right path in the future, guide us and do something big in life.

Teachers are no less than God for us. Teachers have the most important role in our lives. I would like to say that teachers not only introduce us to the world of books, but they also play an important role in our lives. Teachers also try to make us have a positive thinking in life apart from books and make us a good person.

Similarly, I would like to tell that Teachers' Day in India is celebrated on the occasion of the birthday of India's first President Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is known as a great teacher and philosopher in India. He was born on September 05, 1888 in Tirumani, a small village in Tamil Nadu. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who comes from a very simple family, has also been nominated for the Nobel Prize 27 times for his achievements. Along with this, he has also been awarded the Bharat Ratna Award.

I would also like to share an anecdote behind celebrating Teachers' Day on every 5th September in India. Actually, when Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan became the President, he was congratulated for becoming the President. On this occasion, he had said that he would be very happy if his birthday is celebrated as Teachers' Day on every 5th September. After this, every 5th September is celebrated as Teachers' Day in India.
