New Delhi: Delhi is expected to witness another scorching summer day on Thursday, with the maximum temperature likely to climb to 44 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature remains around 33 degrees Celsius. The prolonged spell of extreme heat is expected to keep residents on alert as daytime conditions remain harsh across the national capital.

Warm Winds and Dry Weather to Dominate

Weather forecasts indicate that the mercury is likely to hover near 33 degrees Celsius for much of the day. Winds are expected to blow at a speed of around 9.28 kmph, offering little relief from the heat. The wind direction is forecast at 263 degrees, accompanied by gusts reaching up to 11.14 kmph.

Sunrise and Sunset Timings

Residents can expect the sun to rise at 5:23 AM and set at 7:15 PM on Thursday, resulting in long daylight hours and extended exposure to high temperatures.

Seven-Day Forecast Signals Continued Heatwave Conditions

The outlook for the coming week suggests that hot weather will persist across Delhi. Temperatures are expected to remain above 40 degrees Celsius throughout the period. Forecasts indicate a high of 41°C on Friday and 40°C on Saturday. The temperature is likely to rise again to 43°C on Sunday, followed by 44°C on Monday. The hottest day of the week could be Tuesday, with the mercury potentially reaching 45°C before easing slightly to 44°C on Wednesday.

Meteorologists advise residents to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours, and take necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses as the city continues to experience intense summer conditions.
